Job Description

Reeves Lethbridge Campus is seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to fill the role of Instructor in our Medical, Business and Legal Programs. Instructors will provide instruction, facilitate student learning and contribute to the academic success of students and the success of the college.

General Qualification

Candidates must possess a Degree or Diploma from a recognized University or College relating to the area of instruction, minimum two years experience in a related field and minimum two years of teaching experience and/or possession of instructor's certificate.

Your relevant work history in a related setting, strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and your ability to motivate and inspire students will be essential to your success as an instructor.

Specific Responsibilities

The Instructor's responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
  • Preparing lesson plans and teaching aids that utilize a variety of teaching methods to promote student success
  • Monitoring and discussing students' progress with them individually and as a group
  • Assigning and posting grades
  • Participating in the development and evaluation of curriculum and instructional materials
  • Maintaining relevant industry skills and knowledge

Summary

Reeves College Lloydminster Campus is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to fill the role of part-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) Instructor. The MOA Instructor will provide instruction and facilitate student learning in human anatomy, pharmacology, and clinical procedures, office procedures and technology, and medical-office-specific skills such as transcription, recordkeeping, and billing software.

General Qualification

The ideal candidate possesses a Degree or Diploma from a recognized University or College relating to the area of instruction, minimum two years experience in a related field and minimum two years of teaching experience and/or possession of instructor's certificate.
