Reeves College Helps Families Build Stronger Futures

Calgary, AB - February 15, 2010 - In 1990, Alberta became the first province in Canada to celebrate Family Day. The statutory holiday, which falls on the third Monday in February, was established to recognize the values held by Alberta's pioneers and to solidify family bonds today.

Reeves College has been building strong family bonds through education for more than 40 years. With five campus locations throughout Alberta, diploma programs at the college have helped countless Albertans develop the skills they needed to support their families.

Strong families are an important component of a healthy economy. Reeves' career-orientated programs are aimed at training students for jobs in industries that the province needs. In less than a year, a student can be working in a lucrative field like oil and gas, health care or law.

If you're looking for Family Day activities to take part in today in Alberta, check out your local city hall for more information.

Wonderful teachers and excellent staff coordinators. I had a very great experience attending Reeves North with my online program and highly recommend them to anyone who may be considering attending post secondary education or either after high school or changing careers or even to upgrade current degrees. Huge thumbs up!
