New partnerships forged with local businesses

Lethbridge, AB - February 18, 2010 - The Lethbridge campus of Reeves College took part in a mix and mingle this month, hosted by the city's Chamber of Commerce. The event provided the college with the opportunity to meet new businesses and reacquaint themselves with old contacts.

"Our campus benefits immensely from these types of initiatives," says Penni Kiss, campus director at Reeves College in Lethbridge.  "By taking part in these business events, we not only promote our college, but we are able to network and promote our students in a meaningful way."

Representatives also secured new practicum placements for their students at the event, something Kiss believes are vital to students' success.

Reeves also had a booth at the Chamber mixer, allowing business members to find out more about the college and the programs it has to offer.
