A paralegal who goes to bed and wakes up at different hours each day and night, leads a sedentary lifestyle and overthinks big projects may ultimately have a more stressful day than a well-rested, physically active and discerning coworker. It does not have to be this way for the overwhelmed and overtired worker. Young adults who slightly alter their daily schedule by following a few helpful tips can drastically change their productivity levels during the day and ultimately impress their managers with their shift in work management. (little too similar to the other story, rework)
First, set up a daily schedule of going to bed and waking up at the same time each day. A person's body becomes accustomed to a regular routine and eventually develops a natural inclination to wake up at the right time without any alarm clock. On days where paralegals anticipate a busier day at the office, they can benefit from waking just 45 minutes to an hour earlier than usual, to encourage a better start to the daily to-do list.
Another helpful tip for workers is to stay calm when faced with a big project. Instead of looking at the assignment as one massive production, professionals can break it up into smaller pieces and complete each small task one at a time. Each completion will feel like a minor accomplishment and encourage workers to continue to make progress.
Aspiring paralegals can begin to practice these skills in the career-focused Paralegal program at Reeves College. For more information, fill out the form on the right.
Testimonials
Wonderful teachers and excellent staff coordinators. I had a very great experience attending Reeves North with my online program and highly recommend them to anyone who may be considering attending post secondary education or either after high school or changing careers or even to upgrade current degrees. Huge thumbs up!
