Job burnout and exhaustion are common issues for employees who have seen little to no change in the workplace for years, according to the Toronto Star. A new study out of Montreal observed 260 Canadians in a range of career fields and measured their commitment to their jobs. Most workers who experienced emotional exhaustion were unhappy with their day-to-day routines and felt trapped in their current positions with no other job alternatives for them.

One way workers can deal with burnout or exhaustion is to change to a career that will make them happier in the long run. Skills-based career training programs can help with the transition between jobs and boost a job seekers value in the job market.

Those looking for a challenging and interesting line of work in a dynamic field should consider paralegal and legal assistant careers. The Paralegal and Legal Administrative Assistant programs at Reeves College help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to get started in the field.
