Last Wednesday, February 26, Reeves College students, staff, and faculty spread kindness through a sea of pink on Pink Shirt Day, collectively raising over $600 for charity.

The focus of Pink Shirt Day this year was taking kindness to new heights and “lifting each other up” – celebrating the things that make people unique and seeing past differences. Learn more about Pink Shirt Day here.

“It was extremely positive and uplifting to see all of our students and staff sporting their pink T-shirts,” says Sara Mackenzie, Campus Director, Lloydminster. “It’s a great feeling to know that our school is contributing to making a difference in the lives of other students and families across the country.”

Across its five campus locations, Reeves College proudly participated in sharing kindness, compassion, and acceptance with friends, colleagues, and classmates.

The funds raised by Reeves College will be provided to CKNW Kids’ Fund, which supports a variety of anti-bullying programs across the country, including Kids Help Phone, Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Canada, Stigma-Free Society, and more. Learn more about CKNW Kids' Fund here.

Wonderful teachers and excellent staff coordinators. I had a very great experience attending Reeves North with my online program and highly recommend them to anyone who may be considering attending post secondary education or either after high school or changing careers or even to upgrade current degrees. Huge thumbs up!
