We know you’re busy studying, so when it’s time to eat, you need to make it fast. Ideally, it would be easier to create some interesting meals with the items you already have on hand, so you can save yourself a trip to the grocery store.

Check out our list of quick pantry meals for some inspiration on new meal ideas!

Taco Mac n’ Cheese

Raid your Kraft Dinner supply for this delicious recipe. Instead of taco shells and sour cream, whip up your mac n’ cheese with your favourite taco toppings such as salsa or canned tomatoes, jalapenos, ground beef, and spices.

Faux Shoyu Ramen

We all know about instant ramen noodles. But what if you could make it taste like freshmade ramen? Cook your ramen in a pot, and once done, garnish with a soft-boiled egg (or two), scallions, black sesame seeds, and dried seaweed.

Spinach Tortellini Tomato Soup

Grab that canned tomato soup from the pantry and mix it in with your favourite, stuffed tortellini noodles. We’re suggesting spinach and ricotta for a nice vegetable-cheese blend, but feel free to choose plain cheese or meat tortellini options. The whole meal should take under 10 minutes to prepare.

4-Ingredient Mexican Rice

All you need for this one is rice, canned beans, canned corn, and enchilada sauce. If you don’t have regular cooking rice, microwaveable rice will work for this one too. Cook all your items together in a pot and serve when hot!

Spaghetti al Limone

It sounds fancy, but it really isn’t. Boil some plain spaghetti noodles, and when done, stir in parmesan cheese, lemon, and olive oil. If you’re feeling creative, you can add some chopped scallions or grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (delectable Italian cheese!)
