Stepping out of summer and into the fall season may feel a little weird at first, but there are many things to look forward to minimize any jitters you may have. Check out some of our top suggestions below.

Make New Friends

College is the time and place to meet new people and make new friends from all different backgrounds. All in all, it’s a worthwhile experience, so don't be afraid to introduce yourself to classmates and instructors.

Celebrate Fall Festivities

Whether you're looking to carve pumpkins, host a spooky movie night, get lost in a corn maze, or dress up for Halloween, you've got a lot of options to keep yourself entertained and feeling festive for the fall.

Get Outside and Stay Active

Make the most out of the cooler weather by taking walks in one of Alberta's parks like Banff National Park, Jasper National Park, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, or one of the many beautiful trails the province has to offer.

Show Off Your Campus

Embrace the beautiful colours! Document the season with your friends by taking photos with the vibrant fall leaves. Have fun, and don't forget to tag us on social if you do take pictures on campus! Follow us here.

Get Comfortable

Did someone say sweater weather? The weather has dropped lower, and it now it's time to pull out your oversized hoodies, sweaters, leggings, sweatpants, and anything else you like to keep you warm this fall.

Free College Swag

Every year our campuses give out tons of free swag like backpacks, shirts, water bottles, and more. Keep an eye out on our social media channels, and you may just get something too. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Enjoy Seasonal Drinks

It's the season to add some pumpkin spice into your life, or any warm drink to complement the perfect temperatures. Grab your friends and go to the local cafe to treat yourself to a hot chocolate date.

Day Light Savings Ends

Let the clock fall back this season, as you get an extra hour of sleep when daylight savings ends in November.

We hope you get to try some of the activities this fall and stay safe while doing them.

Wonderful teachers and excellent staff coordinators. I had a very great experience attending Reeves North with my online program and highly recommend them to anyone who may be considering attending post secondary education or either after high school or changing careers or even to upgrade current degrees. Huge thumbs up!
