National Doughnut Day
June 4, 2021

Each year on the first Friday in June, people participate in National Doughnut or Donut Day, celebrating the doughnut and honouring the Salvation Army Lassies.

National Making Life Beautiful Day

National Making Life Beautiful Day on June 11th dedicates a celebration to those who make life beautiful.

Father’s Day
June 20, 2021

On the third Sunday in June, Father’s Day honors the role fathers play in the family structure and society. The day recognizes not just fathers, but the father figures in our lives.

Summer Solstice June 20th

On the longest day of the year, Summer Begins in the Northern Hemisphere. It is also known as the Summer Solstice, which happens either on June 20th, 21st, or 22nd. It all depends on the time zone in which you live.

National Selfie Day

Thanks to social media and the smartphone, June 21st recognizes a form of self-portrait that couldn’t exist without them; It’s National Selfie Day! We are encouraged to take creative (appropriate) selfies and share them on social media.

Each year on June 27th, National PTSD Awareness Day recognizes the post-traumatic effects stress has on the lives of those impacted by it.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) has a profound effect on the lives of those who suffer from it. The statistics alone are staggering but can only tell a portion of the story.
