Happy December Everyone! Hot chocolate, snuggling up with warm blankets and Christmas Movies - things to look forward to this holiday season.  

We have a very busy month ahead of us with all of our Christmas activities and events going on at the Lloydminster Campus. As Christmas approaches it can be a very busy time of the year, be sure that you keep up with your studies but also make time for your loved ones. 

Events

Holiday Baking Day
December 4, 2019

Bring your favorite treat to share with the campus on December 4th. We will have everything set up in the student lounge and everyone is welcome to help them selves to a holiday treat. 

Holiday Potluck
December 18, 2019

December 18 we will be having a Holiday Potluck to celebrate Christmas from 12-1:30. There will be a sign up sheet at reception if you would like to bring a dish to share with the campus. 

Christmas Sweater Day
December 24, 2019

On December 24, to celebrate Christmas Eve, everyone is welcome to wear a Christmas Sweater to class. We will take pictures of everyone wearing their sweaters to post on social media.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Erika Yu

December Student of the Month is Erika Yu! Erika is a positive student that is always willing to help her fellow students and is sure to bring a smile to everyone's face. Please join us in congratualtion Erika on her achievement. 

Christmas PJ Drive

From Dec 2-15 we will be collecting new PJ's for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Lloyd. All PJ's will be donated to children in need. Sign up sheet is at reception with the sizes we are looking for, so sign up to brighten a child's Christmas!

Holiday Food Drive

During the month of December, the college will be participating in a Food Drive Challange. Your donations will help support families in need during the holidays and for every donation Reeves College will give 25 cents to Food Bank Canada

Addictions Class Guest Speaker

Our Addictions & Community Service Worker class wil be welcoming a guest speaker on December 3, 2019.

ACSW Class Volunteering

On December 18, that ACSW class will be volunteering at the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign. Join me in thanking the class for all they do in our community.

Secret Santa

Starting on Dec 2, all students are welcome to join Secret Santa, there are sign up slips at reception along with all of the details. Help brighten someone's day with a little gift to show them they are appreciated. 

Christmas Time at Reeves College

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Reeves Lloydminster. We have our Christmas Tree and Christmas decorations up and we are super excited for all of the events and activities we will have going on through out the month. A PJ Drive for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lloydminster, Holiday Baking Day and Secret Santa to name jsut a few.
