It will help you make the best first impression possible when you land your interview!

One thing that students sometimes forget is that while a job search may not automatically lead to a new job, it does provide you with the opportunity to network with a lot of new people. Make sure you make a good impression with employers you meet and keep in touch with them even if you don’t get hired. While you may not be qualified right away, they may have the perfect job for you down the road. Add contacts to LinkedIn, and always remember to send a thank you note to anyone who has taken the time to meet with you.
