Have you often struggled with creating the perfect resume? Learn the “dos and don’ts” of resume writing in a hands-on workshop at our Lloydminster campus and ensure your resume gets noticed! While you’re there, check out a budgeting workshop, where you will learn how to input expenses and income and take home a souvenir budgeting workbook.
At Calgary City Centre, attend a “speed dating” event, where you get to know your program before you enroll. Much like speed dating, you will go from station to station and interact with instructors, students, and faculty members from each program.
Have you always wanted to learn more about alternative medicine? Edmonton campus is putting on a cupping demonstration, where they will use suction cups to imitate acupuncture needles, and examine meridians and acupoints in reducing pain and inflammation. While you’re visiting, discover techniques on “how to plan a banquet”, led by the Hospitality Business Management program.
If you’re more business savvy, attend Calgary North’s shipping and receiving demo, put on by the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, or visit Lethbridge to learn the importance of various social media channels and how to effectively use each platform to communicate different messages.
